Privacy
In short: your images stay on your device, and we count visits without cookies.
Your images
Shot Prep processes images only in your browser. They are never uploaded, stored on a server or seen by us: cropping, compression and redaction all happen on your device. Saved files carry no location or camera data from the original.
What stays in your browser
The tool keeps a few settings in your browser's storage: the light or dark theme, your custom output sizes, your Beautify settings (including the address bar text), whether you turned off the install offer, the interface language and, if you have one, your Pro licence key. They never leave your device, and clearing the site's data removes them.
Anonymous statistics
We use Vercel Web Analytics to count page views, without cookies and without identifying you. We also count a few actions: the format and number of images saved, installing the app, using redaction, opening the installed app, opening the Pro offer, starting a checkout and activating a licence. We never collect the images, their names, your licence key or anything you type.
Hosting
The site is hosted by Vercel, which delivers the pages to your browser.
Payments
If you buy Pro, Stripe processes the purchase. Your card details go only to Stripe (Link, the seller of record). We see your e-mail address and the purchase in Stripe, so we can issue your licence key, send it again and handle a refund. The licence key contains your e-mail address and stays in your browser.
